Chinese manufacturer GAC is entering the Australian market with a trio of vehicles, one of which is the fully electric Aion V for which pricing and full specifications have now been confirmed.
Starting at $42,590 before on-roads , the Aion V is a mid-size SUV that will go up against compatriots like the BYD Atto 3 (from $39,990 before on-roads), though it's closer in size to the hybrid Toyota RAV4 (from $42,260 before on-roads).
Rivals for the Aion V include the Geely EX5 (priced from $40,990 before on-roads) and Leapmotor C10 (from $45,888 plus on-roads).
The Aion V will be sold in Premium and Luxury trim levels, both of which feature a 150kW/210Nm front-mounted electric motor powered by a 75.26kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery.
