EDMOND − Edmond is having a sales tax election, although the run-up to it has been so quiet voters might not have noticed.

Voters will decide on Tuesday, Nov. 18, whether to approve taxes they have passed time and again, but this time with one of them dedicated to streets. Officials are calling it "Paving the Way." Polls will be open from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. Both measures are expected to pass.

Without Proposition 1, city government, including the police and fire departments, would be severely crimped, the city says.
