Tax levy, budget, and street naming approvals on the docket for Danville City Council

DANVILLE — The Danville City Council will decide Tuesday evening whether to approve an ordinance governing honorary street names. The council will also hold hearings on the 2025 proposed tax levy and the 2026-2027 Proposed Budget.

During the public works meeting on Wednesday, there was discussion on how to move forward with a street renaming ordinance following a citizen’s request for the past several months.
