Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar on November 18 said state government will build an international complex to house global business houses in Bengaluru.

Speaking at Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2025, he said the initiative is part of a broader plan to position the city as a global business and investment destination. “We are building an international complex for housing all international business houses,” he said.

He added that the government will establish a separate secretariat for NRIs to streamline services and coordination. “Residential layouts dedicated to NRIs are also being planned” he said.

Shivakumar further announced that Karnataka is working on a world-class AI City spread over 9,000 acres near Bidadi and is considering a second airport in South Bengaluru to cater to the city
