NEWBURG, Mo. (KY3) -A Phelps County man is accused of killing his brother after an argument over fixing a coffee pot led to gunshots being fired.

According to the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, on Nov. 16, deputies were dispatched at around 6:20 p.m. for a report of a domestic shooting in the 16000 block of State Route T, south of Newburg.

Once on scene, deputies found 48-year-old Bradley Colgrove suffering from gunshot wounds. He was brought to Phelps Health in Rolla, where he later died from his injuries, according to deputies.

During an interview, a witness stated that Bradley’s 55-year-old brother, Eric Dewayne Colgrove, got into an argument with Bradley over fixing a coffee pot. This led to a physical altercation outside the residence, according to documents.
