TWINSBURG, Ohio (WOIO) - A candlelight vigil will be held Tuesday evening for the 14-year-old Twinsburg High School freshman fatally shot this past weekend.
City officials said anyone is welcome to attend the vigil for London Brown.
It will be held from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Liberty Park, 9399 Liberty Rd.
According to Twinsburg police, at 11:48 a.m. on Nov. 15, Brown’s mother called police and said her daughter had left their Ravenna Road home with a gun.
Officers began to search the area and at 12:36 p.m., dispatch received a call from a resident on White Oak Drive who heard gun shots.
Officers responded and found Brown with a gunshot wound in a wooded area northwest of Twinsburg High School on Ravenna Road.
A 15-year-old Twinsburg Township boy is charged with murder and tampering
