The Federal Aviation Administration has lifted all flight restrictions, ending a forgettable chapter for the major U.S. airlines.
Despite the bumpy month and a half, some U.S. carriers rose to the occasion. United Airlines, in particular, stood above the rest , with strong employee management throughout the shutdown, while minimizing delays since.
However, despite the restrictions ending, United is still facing troubling issues. Most recently, f light 380 to Chicago was diverted due to a bomb threat . These problems will persist, especially with the holidays looming.
That may also affect Delta Air Lines, despite the carrier typically having fewer delay issues than the other major U.S. airlines. It was a different story for Delta on Monday, as the airline led the way for flight delay
