On Nov. 7, a red-carpet event called the Glimmer Gala was held at the Marriot in Kingston and included dinner, music, and an auction. Article content

All the money raised throughout the event, which included ticket sales, and sponsors, was donated to the Homes for Heros Foundation.

A little more than $100,000 was given to help support veterans who are facing homelessness.
