LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested one man after a traffic stop on Nov. 14.

It happened on Hopkins Cemetery Road, 6 miles south of London.

A traffic stop was issued to a Chevrolet Silverado due to an equipment violation.

After stopping, the driver was found in possession of two plastic bags containing suspected methamphetamine.

Jesse Garland was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a controlled substance (first-degree, first offense, methamphetamine)

Possession of drug paraphernalia

He is being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
