(Mandan, ND) — A Mandan man who was arrested for a violent encounter with a woman is getting a serious charge dismissed. A woman told Mandan police that Bryce Snow showed up to her home, beat her, and put her in a chokehold until she fell unconscious. She also said he was violent with a child in the home. He was arrested last month but a judge dismissed one count of attempted murder against Snow today. The decision was made because there wasn’t enough evidence to show, in the court’s eyes, that he had the intention to kill. He pleaded not guilty to child abuse and aggravated assault. Snow’s trial is scheduled for February.
