X , the social media network controlled by Elon Musk, suffered a severe outage Tuesday.

Users attempting to reach X, formerly known as Twitter , saw various error messages including “Something went wrong. Try reloading.” The X app was displaying an error message that said, “Posts aren’t loading right now.”

There were more than 11,500 reports of problems with the social media platform as of 6:42 a.m. ET, according to Downdetector, a downtime-monitoring service provider that tracks outages by collecting reports from a number of sources. Most of the reports (61%) were related to the X app, while 27% indicated issues with the website and 12% cited “server connection” errors, per Downdetector.
