FOUNTAIN CO. – Sunday afternoon, just before 3:45 p.m., Trooper Millburg was patrolling southbound on U.S. 41 near County Road 650 North. He observed a northbound motorcycle and obtained a radar reading of over 100 mph in a 55 mph zone. Trooper Millburg made a U-turn in an attempt to stop the bike but lost sight of it as he began searching the area.
Trooper Millburg notified nearby law enforcement agencies, which also started searching for the motorcycle. As two Attica Police Officers were traveling southbound on U.S. 41 while leaving Attica, the bike passed the first officer, then sideswiped the second officer’s patrol vehicle.
