Patchy fog, especially in the eastern portions of the Portland/Vancouver area, will greet early risers Tuesday. There’s also the possibility of a few light rain showers.

But the National Weather Service mostly expects a dry day with calm winds and clouds clearing later in the day leaving mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will be near normal, with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s in most western Oregonian locations away from the coast. Portland should see a high of about 52.

With clearing skies and colder air in the upper atmosphere, overnight temps will drop, likely giving Portland the coldest temps it’s seen this fall just before sunrise Wednesday.
