Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has taken to social media with a moving message as she marked the anniversary of her father's death.

The actress is best known for playing Lauren Bolton in the ITV soap, having made her debut in the role back in 2022.

Viewers were first introduced to the troubled teen alongside her evil dad, Reece Bolton, who was a member of Griff Reynolds' far-right gang, which used Lauren to befriend Max Turner, who was later turned against his community by Reece, Griff and co.

Lauren left the Street before later returning but has since faced a number of difficult years. She went missing and was presumed dead, only for her to return pregnant with Joel Deering's baby after it was revealed he had been grooming her.
