A 54-year-old woman was wounded Monday night after three gunmen opened fire at a crowd waiting for the bus in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before midnight, a crowd of people were at a bus stop in the 2800 block of West 63rd Street when three armed males exited a red SUV and opened fire at the crowd, wounding a 54-year-old woman who was sitting down, police said.
The men got back into the SUV and fled the scene, police said.
The woman, who suffered a wound to the chest, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where she was listed in fair condition, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
