A massive overnight Ukrainian strike hit two major Russian-controlled power plants in Donetsk, causing what Moscow-installed authorities called “unprecedented” damage. The attack knocked out boiler houses and water systems at the Zuivska and Starobesheve plants, plunging large parts of the region into darkness. Nearly 500,000 residents reportedly lost electricity as Kyiv intensified its campaign to cripple Russian military logistics.
