H D Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Steel & Heavy Industries, along with Jual Oram, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, visited the SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha on a two-day tour.

The visit highlighted the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Caster #4 in Steel Melting Shop-2, marking a significant milestone in the plant’s modernisation efforts.

Upon arrival at Rourkela Airport, Shri Kumaraswamy was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Anitha Kumaraswamy, Shri Amarendu Prakash, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of SAIL, and other Ministry of Steel officials.
