MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — Law enforcement arrested a person suspected of two separate killings in Muskegon County, the prosecutor's office said Tuesday morning.

Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timmothy Maat told 13 ON YOUR SIDE that police have a homicide suspect in custody who is connected to two homicides of two women in two different locations in Muskegon County.

Maat said authorities have been investigating these two killings around the clock and indicated there is no threat to the public.

Authorities would not name the suspect, nor would they share additional details about the two homicides, including the names of the victims, the timeframe and locations.
