FLORIDA, USA — A Florida man accused of kidnapping and murdering a missing woman from the United Kingdom was arrested Monday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced.
The man, who FDLE identified as 53-year-old Dwain Hall, of Ocala, faces first-degree murder and kidnapping charges.
In a news release, FDLE said Hall was already in jail on charges of fraudulent use of credit cards and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. The charges were tied to the fraudulent use of the victim's credit cards, according to FDLE.
"The arrest follows a swift and intensive investigation that led to the discovery of her remains in Marion County less than one week after she was reported missing," FDLE said in the release.
