LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — Crews are investigating in Lorain County after a car and a Keystone Local School District bus were involved in a crash.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at the intersection of Parsons Road and state Route 31 on Tuesday morning at around 9:36 a.m.

OSHP says preliminary investigation reveals that a 2006 Buick traveling east on Parsons Road failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by a school bus traveling southbound on state Route 301.

The crash caused the bus, which was not transporting students at the time of the crash, to overturn.

According to OSHP, the bus was occupied by the driver and an aide, who were both wearing seatbelts. Both individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
