An Edinburgh woman is paying tribute to her friend who sadly died after a heart attack.
Caitlin Garrett, 33, worked alongside her friend Claire, 48, at James Gillespie's High School before she passed away in January after suddenly falling unwell.
Claire, who worked as an RMPS teacher was described as a "dear friend" to many who was loved by all kids and staff.
Caitlin, who works as a guidance teacher, is now preparing to honour her and raise money for the British Heart Foundation. She has been running 5k every day throughout 2025, and will finish by running the marathon distance on New Year's Eve.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Caitlin said: "Towards the end of January, Claire, my colleague, was an RMPS teacher and she passed away after suffering a heart attack.
