Jasvir Singh Garhi, has taken suo-moto notice of a serious incident reported in the media, regarding the alleged refusal to keep the body of a Dalit youth in the mortuary. Taking cognizance of the matter, he has issued strict directions to the Deputy Commissioner, Rupnagar to conduct an immediate inquiry and submit a detailed report.
