Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced temporary cancellation of several trains this week to facilitate safety-related modernization works in the Talcher–Talcher Road section. The cancellations have been necessitated due to the launching of girders for the construction of a Rail Overbridge (ROB) at the Chainpal level crossing gate, falling under the Khurda Road division.

As part of the planned infrastructure upgrade, the following trains will remain cancelled:

On 19 November 2025 (Wednesday)

Train No. 18125 Rourkela–Puri Express

On 20 November 2025 (Thursday)

Train No. 18126 Puri–Rourkela Express

Train No. 22839 Rourkela–Bhubaneswar Intercity

Train No. 22840 Bhubaneswar–Rourkela Intercity
