Six Palestine Action activists accused of attacking an Israel-based defence firm’s UK site armed themselves with sledgehammers to be used as weapons and to damage property, a court heard.
Charlotte Head, Samuel Corner, Leona Kamio, Fatema Rajwani, Zoe Rogers and Jordan Devlin are accused of aggravated burglary, criminal damage and violent disorder in relation to an alleged break-in at an Elbit Systems factory near Patchway, Bristol, in the early hours of August 6 last year.
Corner, 23, is also charged with causing police sergeant Kate Evans grievous bodily harm on the same day.
