Deepika Padukone is currently busy with AA22xA6, the Allu Arjun–Atlee sci-fi thriller, one of the biggest pan-Indian films in production today.

However, she reportedly set strict conditions for the makers of two major Telugu projects, Kalki 2 and Spirit, both designed for global audiences.

Deepika is said to have insisted on an eight-hour workday limit, a significantly higher paycheck, and premium amenities for herself and her 25-member staff.

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga did not agree to these demands, leading to her exit from Spirit. Similarly, despite her presence in Kalki 2898 AD, the producers of Kalki 2 decided not to continue with her for the sequel.

In a recent interview, Deepika stated that her priorities have evolved and she has no regrets about these projects slipping away.
