The team opened the 2025-26 campaign back on September 12 with a 9-2 loss to the North Edmonton Red Wings. Similar to last year, the Riggers began the season on an extended losing streak, dropping their first six games while being outscored 32-10. Article content Article content

Nearly a month in, on October 12, to be exact, the team found its way into the win column with a 6-5 victory over the Fort Sask Hawks. Now 3-13-0, the Riggers sit last in the CJHL’s East Division with six points. The team has a matching second-worst 42 goals-for and 101 goals-against.
