We now have the date and time for the 2026 Emmy Awards . NBC and the Television Academy announced Tuesday that the 78th Emmy Awards will air live coast-to-coast on NBC and stream live on Peacock Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live.

As usual, NBC moves the ceremony to Monday when it is its turn to air the awards to avoid a conflict with the network’s broadcast of Sunday Night Football. This has happened in previous years, 2014, 2018 and 2022.

The date of Emmy Award nominations will be announced in the coming months. Nominees are usually announced in July, and shows that run between June 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026 eligible for consideration.
