CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Former West Virginia Senate President Craig Blair has a new role with West Virginians for Reliable & Affordable Energy, a coalition focused on strengthening the state’s electric grid.
Blair, who was Senate president from 2021 until January, will serve as the group's executive director, according to a press release.
“Our electric transmission grid is becoming unreliable and unable to support growth for West Virginia families, workers, business and manufacturing," Blair said. "You can’t restore American energy dominance with 50-year-old wires.
