WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump rolled out the red carpet for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House on Tuesday, an event the president is trying to use to advance his foreign policy legacy.
It’s been a long time since Prince Mohammed was welcome in official Washington. He hasn’t been to the White House since the 2018 killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi, which U.S. intelligence officials say he likely ordered.
