Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he won’t decide until later in the week whether Aaron Rodgers will quarterback the team on Sunday afternoon in Chicago, but he does expect several other injured players to return for the Bears game.
Running back Jaylen Warren left the Bengals game in the third quarter with an ankle injury. He was cleared to return during the game, but the Steelers rode the hot hand of Kenneth Gainwell for the remainder. Tomlin said Warren will be limited in practice early in the week, but he is optimistic he will be able to play on Sunday.
Tomlin also expects cornerback Darius Slay and linebacker Cole Holcomb to be available this week. Slay missed the Bengals game after he was concussed against the Chargers, and Holcomb has missed the past three games due to an illness.
