WICHITA, (KAKE) - A former TV news anchor who is charged with fatally stabbing her mother in their Wichita home had been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and suffered from delusions and depression, a newly released court document states.
Angelynn Mock, 48, was charged earlier this month with intentional and premeditated first-degree murder in the death of her 80-year-old mother on Halloween. Last week, Judge Jeffrey Goering ordered Mock to undergo a competency evaluation to see if she’s fit to stand trial. District Attorney Marc Bennett said this process typically takes 60 days to complete.
