Plastipak Packaging said it will spend $53.8 million to expand its Rapides Parish manufacturing facility, a move that will create 15 jobs.
The company will add 200,000 square feet to its Pineville plant, a move that will add warehouse space and possibly up to five production lines.
The project will add 25 indirect jobs and retain 340 positions, according to Louisiana Economic Development.
The work is set to be completed by the end of 2026.
Plastipak expanded the Pineville plant in 2017, adding seven production lines and added 10 direct jobs in a $15 million investment.
The company has had a plant in Pineville since the early 2000s. Plastipak makes packaging for household brands such as Coca-Cola, Tide, Pepsi, Roundup weed killer and Febreze.
