Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will avoid surgery on his fractured wrist after undergoing further tests on Monday, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Rodgers' status is unclear for the team's road game against the Chicago Bears this week, but Pelissero added that Rodgers is pushing to play in Sunday's game.

As Rodgers must get the clear from doctors before he plays with his fractured left wrist, Steelers fans will have to hope backup quarterback Mason Rudolph is prepared to play if Rodgers isn't able to go.

We'll see what happens with Rodgers as the week continues.
