Vince Gilligan has had success on the small screen, not only as the creator of the acclaimed series Breaking Bad and its counterpart Better Call Saul, but also as a writer and producer on The X-Files and the co-creator of its spin-off The Lone Gunmen (which was panned by critics at the time, but later gained a cult following). He has proven time and time again that he knows what he is doing when it comes to crafting TV shows, but that doesn't mean that he has all the answers – and, in some cases, he doesn't want to have all the answers.
