Musician Omar Harfouch has quit as a judge for the upcoming 2025 Miss Universe pageant over concerns he’s now raising.

He claims that an “impromptu jury” was formed to choose the 30 finalists before the event even took place. 136 total countries are represented.

He claims when he spoke out about this, they rushed “to publish a list of names associated with the selection on their Instagram page.” He added that none of the 8 judges selected were involved and said “The results of this selection are currently being kept secret.”
