The Australian internet troll who rushed Ariana Grande at the “Wicked: For Good” premiere in Singapore was sentenced Monday to nine days in jail.
Johnson Wen, 26, served his fourth day in custody on Monday, Channel News Asia reported. He’ll finish his sentence after Friday.
The fast-paced case began Nov. 13, when Wen jumped over a barricade, ran up to Grande and grabbed the star on the film’s yellow carpet. He was quickly blocked by co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh.
As security dragged Wen away from the VIP area, he broke free and attempted to jump the fence again, but was quickly subdued, authorities said. He was arrested again the next day and formally charged under Singapore’s public nuisance law.
Wen pleaded guilty at his first court appearance. He has pulled similar stunts
