The Major League Baseball non-tender deadline is on Friday, and the Yankees have some decisions to make. Among their arbitration-eligible players is Mark Leiter Jr.

Leiter has been with the Yankees since 2024. In 80 games with the team, he has a 4.89 ERA. He made his debut with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2017 and has also played for the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Cubs. Spotrac projects him to earn $4 million in arbitration, but the Yankees may value a roster spot more than Leiter.

Leiter has not posted a great ERA with the Yankees and CBS Sports' R.J. Anderson predicted that the Yankees would non-tender Leiter, despite some solid underlying metrics.
