MARTINSBURG - When Martinsburg's Boston Todd scored on the third play of the game during Friday's Class AAAA first-round playoff matchup against Parkersburg South, it was a sign of things to come for the Bulldogs.
Todd racked up a combined four touchdown on offense and defense, as No. 3 Martinsburg rolled to a 58-0 victory over the 14th-seeded Patriots.
Todd got the Bulldogs (9-2), who will host Wheeling Park on Saturday in the quarterfinals, on the board less than two minutes into the game, as he caught a 50-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Brian Dick down the right sideline, helping Martinsburg to a 7-0 lead with 10:43 remaining in the first quarter. Late in the quarter, Dick extended the Bulldogs' lead to 14-0 with a 5-yard touchdown run that capped off a 10-play, 65-yard scoring
