AMC Networks is launching a new niche streaming outlet, All Reality , which is living up to its name by focusing entirely on reality programming.
The service will cost $4.99 and be available on a stand-alone basis as an add-on for Prime Video subscribers, with other distribution partnerships to follow.
Courtney Thomasma, EVP of linear and streaming products, told Deadline in an interview that the new service fits with the company’s emphasis on specialty streaming. Already, the company has more than 11 million subscribers to AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE. Streaming revenue is set to overtake revenue from the company’s linear stable of AMC, IFC, We TV and other cable networks.
AMC Networks has several strong reality franchises, among them Love After Lockup
