LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The cost of veterinary care has risen, and for many families, it's becoming more difficult to afford taking care of a pet.

Hooves and Paws Animal Rescue says there are many families and animal shelters that are facing financial insecurities. It wants to make sure every pet is healthy without their owners having to stress over being able to afford the cost.
