Police in Lancaster County filed charges against two men suspected of arranging a drug deal and then starting a shootout earlier this year that ended with an innocent bystander being shot in the head outside a gas station.

The 20-year-old victim had been parked on Jan. 10 outside a Getty Mart on the 1100 block of Millersville Pike in Lancaster Township when she was hit by stray gunfire, according to court documents filed Friday.

Aaron Shell, 20, of Dover, and Bryan Santos-Caraballo, 21, of Columbia, were charged with aggravated assault and related offenses. Township police said the men are at Lancaster County Prison on unrelated offenses.
