Camas senior Cohen Butler added another victory to his senior cross country season by placing first in the Nike Cross Regional Northwest Championships on Saturday in Spokane.
Butler, the reigning Washington 4A individual champion, won the regional title by covering the 5,000-meter course at the Spokane Polo Grounds in 14 minutes, 36.80, beating out Garrett Faught of Central Point, Ore., (14:38.0) and Jayden Warner of Warrenton, Ore. (14:39.8).
With the win, Butler will advance to the Nike Cross Nationals, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland.
Butler was competing with Camas teammates running under the club name of Milltown Project.
