GLENVILLE, W.Va. — Glenville State University has announced that it will not renew the contract of Head Football Coach Mike Kellar following the conclusion of the 2025 season.
Kellar served as the Pioneers' head coach for seven seasons, accumulating an overall record of 36-32. His overall career coaching mark stands at 87-67, including previous tenures at Concord University, California University of Pennsylvania, and Lenoir-Rhyne University.
“We thank Coach Kellar for his years of service here at Glenville,” Director of Athletics Jesse Skiles said. “Institutionally, we are going in a different direction with the football program at this time. We wish him the best moving forward.”
The university has initiated a national search for Glenville State’s next head football coach.
