Second baseman Gleyber Torres accepted the Tigers' one-year, $22.025 million qualifying offer ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET deadline, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. The club has not confirmed the news.
Torres, who turns 29 on Dec. 13, has eight big league seasons to his name, the first seven of which he spent with the Yankees before he signed a one-year, $15 million deal with the Tigers in December 2024.
