ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A new safety alert is warning parents about artificial intelligence toys as the holiday shopping season begins.
The U.S. PIRG Education Fund’s 40th Trouble in Toyland Report tested three types of AI toys designed for young children and found the chatbots generate content inappropriate for their target age groups.
The toys were found to provide instructions for dangerous tasks, such as how to light matches, and address adult topics.
