Connie Anne Burt, 78 of Abilene passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025. She was born June 11, 1947 in Abilene, the daughter of Melvin and Wilma (Weishaar) Howard.

She graduated from Abilene High School with the class of 1965. On October 29, 1966 she was united in marriage to WM “Bill” Burt. They were married 59 years. Connie was a farm wife and mother.

She also was an editor for the Solomon newspaper, member of Solomon USD 393 school board, Girl Scout leader, 4-H leader and Solomon Church Altar Society, Catechism teacher.

Her most rewarding years were spent in the Salina Schools for years as a Para for special needs kids and worked as a beautician.
