New York Jets player Kris Boyd, left critically wounded after being shot outside a popular Midtown restaurant, was brought to tears three years ago by the elementary school mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas — and helped raise money for the victims’ families.

Boyd created a GoFundMe to benefit the 19 children and two teachers killed by an 18-year-old gunman that raised over $30,000.

“They had to identify these kids by their backpacks,” he said during an interview with the Minnesota Vikings Podcast at the time. “I was devastated. I cried.”

Cops now say Boyd, 29, was involved in the scuffle outside Sei Less on W. 38th St. near Seventh Ave. about 2 a.m. Sunday that ended with him getting shot, police sources said.
