KINGSTON, N.Y. — City Corporation Counsel Barbara Graves-Poller alleges a law firm representing developer Neil Bender’s firm, William Gottlieb Real Estate, engaged in conduct intended to “frighten and intimidate a government employee” after an employee of a private-security firm delivered case papers to her home last Friday.

“Sending a private investigator to my home after receiving the City’s response to effectuated service constituted vexatious conduct, an action seemingly intended to frighten and intimidate a government employee,” Graves-Poller said in an email to the Freeman on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

The case papers were related to the latest lawsuit filed against the city by William Gottlieb Real Estate seeking to halt the demolition of the Pike Plan. The suit , filed in State Suprem
