STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It’s crunch time in high school football and the Island squads acquitted themselves well this past week, going 5-3.

Monsignor Farrell and St. Joseph by-the-Sea punched their tickets to CHSFL championship games this weekend while three of the public schools advanced to the semifinal rounds.
