TYLER, Texas — The U.S House of Representatives overwhelmingly voted to pass a bill Tuesday requiring the full release of files related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
U.S. Rep. Nathaniel Moran (R-Tyler) voted in favor of the release of the files, contributing to the 427-1 vote. A Republican lawmaker from Louisiana was the sole vote against their release, citing procedural concerns.
Moran's office issued a statement Tuesday following the vote indicating his desire for transparency on the matter:
Today’s vote to require the Department of Justice to release the remaining Epstein files passed overwhelmingly. I have been clear and consistent on this issue from the beginning — including publicly calling for the full release of these records this past summer. Transparency and cons
